European Pet Network
The European Pet Network (EuroPetNet or EPN) is a
non-profit making association grouping several animal databases
from various European Countries. The aim of the association is to
give everyone concerned a tool to find the owner of an animal
identified by a microchip and registered in a database. Its main
concern is animal welfare.
EPN is accessible through its website, which makes
it possible to find information about the databases where the lost
animal is registered.
Petlog is a member of the association and will
provide to the site the microchip number of the animal only and
information about the Petlog database. For data protection purposes
Petlog will not provide owners details or information about the
animal itself.
The EPN will confirm whether the microchip number
searched is registered with Petlog. Petlog forwards information to
the EPN on a regular basis, by secure means, including details of
microchips registered to Petlog, to ensure that the information on
the site is as up to date as possible.
