I've Lost my Cat

If you have lost your microchipped cat, please inform Petlog immediately. Log-in to register your lost cat and send a Lost Pet Alert.

If you have lost your cat, you should follow the steps mentioned on the Lost or Found a Pet? page. However here are a few further tips to help recover your lost cat:

  • It may sound obvious, but thoroughly check your own property first. Look in cosy places, under beds, in wardrobes and anywhere else the cat may think it could get some rest, or hiding from a loud noise.
  • House cats that get out will usually stay in their own gardens, hiding under shrubbery or cars, usually more wary of the new sights than many people would think.
  • Ask your neighbours to check their sheds, garages, conservatories, greenhouses or anywhere else sheltered. If they have left a door open and then locked it without checking it is possible your lost cat could be stuck inside.
