Petlog for Vet Practices
Why choose a
microchip registered on the Petlog database?
Petlog provides support and an all-inclusive service for pet
owners and veterinary practices, Petlog is committed to supporting
the Microchipping industry and will continue to provide assistance
in any way it can to the veterinary profession. It is the only
independant UK Microchipping registration and reunification
service.
"We are committed to using Petlog as the database
is the key to the reunification process and it is so often
forgotten. Understanding where your clients' data is being stored,
how it is being used and what service levels are provided is just
as important as a high quality chip and scanner. The microchip
package should be considered as a three-pillar model: Chip, Scanner
and Database and not just the chip alone."

Petlog, the Kennel Club's Pet Identification
Service has been working in partnership for over 15 years with 10
microchip suppliers like Tracer and Pet ID. All microchips benefit
from lifelong registration to Petlog's national database which
supports details of over four million pets and their owners. The
database is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Petlog is also easy and convenient for your
practice. You can register newly microchipped pets through a range
of channels; online at tracer-microchips.co.uk, via your Practice
Management System or by post in the supplied pre-paid envelopes.
Owners can upgrade to Petlog Premium for a one-off fee of just £10,
giving added benefits including unlimited free updates to their
contact details.
