Petlog Premium information for Veterinary Practices

As a vet or implanter it's important to encourage your clients to keep their details up to date on our database so we offer the Petlog Premium service to make this easy for your clients to do so.

Petlog Premium is an enhanced Lost & Found service offered to everyone that has a microchipped pet registered on the Petlog microchip database.

Petlog Premium costs £10 per pet (for the pet's lifetime) and covers any future database amendment charges for that pet while in a client's ownership.

In addition to this, your clients will also get:

Lost and Found Pet Service
When a client's pet is registered as missing with Petlog, a Lost Pet Alert will go out to all the authorised agencies signed up to recieve the alerts within an approximate 30 mile radius from where the pet went missing. Click here to sign up for these alerts.

No amendment fees
If your client moves address, changes their phone number, or wants to add an emergency number they can update the records FREE of charge. Thay can do this on the website by registering for an account. An accurate entry on the Petlog microchip database is essential to help re-unite a lost pet with its owner.

2nd Carer details - Holiday/Travel Details.
Your clients will be able to add details of a second carer for their pet, and change the carer as often as they like, free of charge. They can also place a temporary address on their pets records. This allows us to contact them wherever they are if we need to. This temporary address will stay active for a period of time selected by the client and as soon as the end date has passed, it will revert back to their main address.

Lost Pet Posters
Your clients can create a Lost Pet Poster which can be vital in informing people about their missing pet. Once they have registered an account online, they can simply log-in to upload a photo and create the poster

Petlog Wallet & Collar Tags
Your clients will receive all their documentation in a Petlog document wallet so they can keep all their details safe and in one place, along with any vet records. They also get two Petlog collar tags. These can be secured around a collar of a pet, and identify the pet as microchipped. Our telephone number is also on the tag, so we can be contacted easily.

Petlog Premium Nurses
Vet practices are able to sign up Petlog Premium Nurses to show their support of the lost and found service and assist further in the reunification of lost or stolen pets.

Ask your clients to upgrade to Petlog Premium
Ask your clients to upgrade their pet to Petlog Premium at the time they come to have it microchipped. For a single fee of £10 your clients can have all the above services and more.

Please make them aware, if they opt to stay on the Basic service (without upgrading to Petlog Premium) they will not receive any of the above benefits, and will be unable to add their microchipped pets to their online account.
