The UK's largest database for microchipped pets

Welcome to Petlog. Microchipping is one of the most effective ways to reunite lost pets with their keepers. However, it is only effective if keepers remember to ensure that their contact details are kept up to date.

The Petlog website will be unavailable from 22:00 Thursday 22nd February to 02:00 Friday 23rd February while we carry out routine maintenance. The Petlog reunification telephone line will be operational during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

How does microchipping work?

1. Microchip your pet

Your pet's microchip contains a unique number, which is matched on our database. You and your pet's details are now recorded with us.

2. Add to Petlog

You now need to create an account with Petlog to view and verify the details we hold about you and your pet.

3. Keep up-to-date

It is vital to keep your contact details up-to-date. To update your details and to access more features, upgrade to Petlog Premium for £17 for the lifetime of your pet.

Compulsory Microchipping of Dogs introduced on 6th April 2016
