Pets name: Dave
Area: Hampshire
Dave's story:
The Christmas period is supposed to be a relaxing time to unwind with friends, family and pets. This supposedly relaxing time became a bit of a nightmare for Dave's keepers when he suddenly went missing from their home. The whole family were upset at the thought that Dave may not be home with them for Christmas and would instead be lost outside somewhere. They marked Dave as missing on Petlog and sent out emails to try and find their cat.
Fortunately, in this case Dave managed to find his way home after seven days and didn't have any injuries. He most likely wandered slightly too far but eventually found his way back. Either way, the keepers were overjoyed to have him back home safe and sound. They believe that sometimes a bit of patience in the early stages can help, as your cat may be able to find their own way back.
